Let’s get back to these currently posts a little more often, shall we? I’m going to jump right in.
Currently Reading… American Royals 3. I actually pre ordered this for my Kindle but only just started because some of my library holds came in first that I read. On another note, I’m currently 1 book ahead of my 30 book goal this year so have to keep the momentum going.
Currently Watching… Honestly not much. I’m rewatching Gilmore Girls as is my annual tradition but I started very late this year. I’m on season 3 so will see if I finish all the seasons by December. I mostly put on in the background and when I’m eating for like 10-15 minutes. I don’t have any new shows at the moment, so that’s why I often turn to reading.
Currently Watching (YouTube)… Adding this because I watch more YouTube than TV probably. Loving Monica and Shelby Church (all their channels) and Monica recently started a vlog channel. I just love how they talk about business ventures and everything. Things I wish I knew at 26 but super inspiring to follow them.
Current Purchase… ummm too many…but my most recent apartment addition is a new computer monitor so I can have 2 screens to work from home with and also have the second screen to use my personal laptop with. I’ve been using 2 screens for 10 years now so…no going back, although I’ve been fine with my laptop screen since moving. I just honestly don’t spend as much time on my personal computer as I used to.
Current Food… Green smoothies and almond butter muffins. Now that I swim before work, I bring my breakfast on the go and like to have a protein smoothie and then a muffin. I just can’t ONLY have a smoothie. I like to have something to munch on with it and trying to make sure I replenish after a long swim. Usually I’m swimming for 45 minutes, but may go longer as I work to increase my distance.
Currently drinking… Green smoothies and liquid IVs. I have found electrolyte drinks help me so much during my workouts first thing in the morning. I don’t typically eat before my workout but for swimming, I try to have a bit of my smoothie because I was reading it is good to have a little food before a long cardio workout. I really find that the liquid IV helps me not feel that hungry though while working out.
Currently wearing… all the shorts! Loving that it’s a bit warmer in Philadelphia area compared to Binghamton. I’m enjoying wearing my jean shorts and tops. I recently got a bodysuit (finally jumping on that trend) and paired it with my jean shorts.
Current excitement… I finally went to the local library and got a new library card. Who knew this would be my excitement?! I added the card to my Libby app so I can put more holds and it looks like I have a bigger selection of books. I love queuing up the holds and being surprised when a book is available. It definitely encourages me to read more. Loving reading on my Kindle and the Kindle app on my phone when I am on the go.
